The Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a project to expand its facilities. The expansion included the construction of a medical facility, pharmacy college, parking facility, new hospital beds and an extension to the existing hospital. Additionally, laboratories, chillers and accommodation spaces for boys and girls will be built alongside other necessary infrastructural facilities. Saudi Consult Services is appointed as the project management consultant to provide design and supervision services while construction contractors such as Al-Arrab Contracting Company Ltd, Saudi Binladin Group, and Rabya Construction have been selected.
